Phish’s WaterWheel Foundation and the Mimi Fishman Foundation have announced a new on-line charity auction focusing on Phish’s fall tour. In addition to ticket/cd packages for every show on the tour, there is also a wonderful Las Vegas package which includes ticket to all three shows as well as overnight accommodations at the MGM Grand. The proceeds of the auction will benefit the organizations hosted at the WaterWheel table at each venue during the tour.
Phish kicks off their 2014 Fall Tour on October 17 in Eugene, OR followed by a Seattle gig before winding their way through California and concluding the tour with a 3-night run in Las Vegas.
The auction also includes a Las Vegas Brooklyn Bowl package which includes VIP tickets for .moe’s Halloween show as well as bowling lane rental. Money raised for this package will be divided between Rock the Earth and Headcount.
The WaterWheel Foundation was created by Phish in 1997 to oversee the band's various charitable activities. The Mimi Fishman Foundation was established in 1999 by Miriam "Mimi" Fishman (the late mother of Phish drummer Jon Fishman) and continues to operate today as a tribute to Mimi.
The on-line auction is currently live with the bidding coming to close on September 18.
