Paul McCartney Reaches out to MFF Charity - Delta Gamma Center for Children with Visual Impairments

With help from the Mimi Fishman Foundation, the Delta Gamma Center for Children with Visual Impairments recently launched a new music program - Experience the Arts. Through this exciting new program, children who are blind or visually impaired participate in specially designed music courses, and have the opportunity to collaborate with professional musicians. In the past Jon Fishman, Keith Moseley, Jeff Austin, Michael Travis, and Jason Hann have all jammed with the kids. Last week Sir Paul McCartney got wind of this music program and invited the Delta Gamma Center kids to attend his show at Busch Stadium!

Helping Hounds - Dog Rescue organization in Syracuse 

Lincolnville Central School's organic food program

Genesee Parent Teach Partnership - help provide instruments to children

New Drumstick Auction Launches

The Mimi Fishman Foundation launches a new on-line charity auction.  This time around the auction features drumsticks used during various 2014 Phish shows. 

One of the auctions more unique items are the sticks used during the second set of October 31, 2014 which featured Phish performing their take on Disneyland Records 1964 release, “Chilling, Thrilling Sounds of the Haunted House”.   In addition, Fishman’s sticks used at the New Year’s Eve show in Miami are also part of the auction. 

Funds raised from the auction will be distributed in Mimi’s memory to various children and animal related charities.

The auction is currently live, ending August 11, 2016.

Phish Memorabilia Auction Launched

The Mimi Fishman Foundation has launched an auction of drumsticks used during Phish Fall 2013 tour.  Included is the Oct 31 show which featured the "Wingsuit" set.  Each stick signed by Phish drummer, Jon Fishman and labeled with show/date. All money raised is going to the Music Program run by the Delta Gamma Center for Children with Visual Impairments.  The auction is up and running and concludes June 16. Phish’s WaterWheel Foundation and the Mimi Fishman Foundation have joined forces in a new on-line charity auction.

Phish’s WaterWheel Foundation and the Mimi Fishman Foundation have joined forces in a new on-line charity auction.

In what has become a tour tradition, the Mimi Fishman Foundation is once again hosting an on-line charity auction to benefit Phish’s WaterWheel Foundation.  Every show on the summer tour is represented on the auction with a ticket/cd package.  The auction is currently live, ending April 14, 2016.  

The WaterWheel Foundation was created by Phish in 1997 to oversee the band's various charitable activities. The Mimi Fishman Foundation was established in 1999 by Miriam "Mimi" Fishman (the late mother of Phish drummer Jon Fishman) and continues to operate today as a tribute to Mimi.
