Proceeds are rolling in from our holiday charity auction.  We thank all that participated by bidding or helping spread the word.  We wanted to get a few donations out during the holiday season as we delivered by hand yesterday $6,000 to the Delta Gamma Center for Children with Visual Impairments.  We also just sent $2,000 to the Longmont (CO) Humane Society to help them recoup expenses incurred by their wonderful work helping pets and their owners during the recent Colorado floods.  In addition the Phish ticket auction hosted for the WaterWheel Foundation raised over $6,400.  Thank you once again!

Mimi Fishman Foundation Launches Waterwheel Charity Auction

Tuesday, September 10, 2013

Phish's WaterWheel Foundation and the Mimi Fishman Foundation have teamed up for an on-line charity auction featuring ticket packages for the Phish 2013 Fall tour. The proceeds of the auction will benefit organizations hosted by WaterWheel in each city during the tour.

Phish kicks off their 2013 Fall Tour on October 18 with a 3-night run at the Hampton Coliseum. The band then makes stops at Rochester, Glens Falls, Worcester, Hartford, and Reading, before wrapping up the tour with a 3-night Halloween run in Atlantic City. As of Sept 9, nine of the twelve shows are sold out.

In addition to the tickets packages is a very special travel package for Atlantic City which includes a room at the Tropicana in addition to show tickets.

The WaterWheel Foundation was created by Phish in 1997 to oversee the band's various charitable activities. The Mimi Fishman Foundation was established in 1999 by Miriam "Mimi" Fishman (the late mother of Phish drummer Jon Fishman) and David Shulman – and was created as a vehicle to raise funds for various charities important to Mimi.

The on-line auction is currently live with the bidding coming to close on Tuesday, September 24.
